Institute for Electronic Arts awarded $25,000 grant from Council on the Arts
The New York State Council on the Arts has awarded a $25,000 grant to the Institute for Electronic Arts at Alfred University.
The IEA will use the grant to support residencies for New York-based artists in the fall of 2024. The IEA artist residencies have been sponsored by the Institute for over 25 years.
The Institute for Electronic Arts was established in 1997 to focus on the development of electronic imaging studios, to sponsor cross-disciplinary work, and to sponsor interactive artist residencies for the promotion of professional dialogues. The IEA is dedicated to the integration of electronic media within the fine arts disciplines through a focus on art making, research, and education.
