AU accepts students on a rolling basis starting in late November.

Alfred University will be test optional for the 2024-2025 academic year. High school students applying for Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 admission may apply without submitting SAT or ACT scores, 然而, students have the option of including scores if they choose.

Alfred University will accept: AP/IB/and a variety of college credit courses. Please speak with a counselor for more information.

阿尔弗雷德的生活 University is far from ordinary and we invite you to introduce one of your extraordinary students to what we can offer. Based on a nomination from a school counselor, principal or nominating committee, one current 初级 from every high school will be eligible for the Alfred University Scholars Award - up to $30,000元/年! 

The selected recipient will receive $30,000元/年, for New York State students only, $18,000元/年 if enrolling in our 艺术与设计学院, 生物材料工程, 陶瓷工程, Glass Engineering Science or Materials Science and Engineering programs.

Scholarship Nominee Qualifications:

• Student nominees must be taking a course of study that is college preparatory in scope
• Student must be currently enrolled at your high school with 初级 year status 
• Student must have achieved an overall 3.0 GPA, or equivalent, at the time of nomination
